I’m sorry I made a big mess, but I will help clean it up!
OK- here’s what happened. It was 5 degrees outside and around 6 o’clock at night when I realized that I had not seen my old cat Bree since the day before. His routine is very predictable. He usually sleeps all day on one of the three beds here, wakes up, walks around a little, eats, drinks, ect. and goes back to sleep.

So the first thing I did was open up a can of Nine Lives and then wander around the house yelling for Bree and announcing that it is time for “kitten dinners”. No response. Ok, so I started to get worried. What if he got out somehow and we didn’t know! He could have frozen to death. Oh No!!!. So I took my open can and a flash light and braved the temperature to go look for my cat. No Luck.
At 9 PM Chris came home from his soccer game and we both go looking outside. He spots cat tracks in the snow and we follow them. There is a large clearing behind my next door neighbor’s backyard, and we have the cat food and we are screaming BREE!!!!! We hear a cat meow very loudly and we begin to follow. BRRRRRR (It is really cold and windy). A few minutes later we hear several cats meowing, and I say to Chris, wait a minute, last time I heard Bree meow it sounded like a frog croaking. This can not be our Bree, These are feral cats that we hear.
So reluctantly, we go inside and talk about what a good cat he was, and how we will miss him, and maybe our house will stop smelling like pee because he had kitty Alzhiemer’s and he usually didn’t use the litter box. Anyway, about an hour later Chris went upstairs and when he came back down, He had Bree in his arms! He was asleep in The trundle storage area under Ben’s Bed!
My friend Margaret has tagged me. This means that I need to fill out a survey. A fellow blogger tagged her and so on and so on. Ben is very excited that his mom is going to do this so here it goes.

Megan has taken Simone back home with her. She was our house guest for about one month. Poor Rikki, he really misses his best friend.
Chris filled up the huge cat food storage container and Rikki immediately thought “my dinner is served!”

I wanted to go outside and take snowy pictures but I was too lazy, so here is one last shot of my spring time garden .

It is 10 degrees outside and snowing. We just lit a fire in the fire place, I have our dinner in the oven, (I am making
this tonight) and Rikki as you can see is ready for a nap.
I came across this photo in my archive. It was dated March 26th of last year. This lone purple crocus was my first flower of spring last year.
