Out to lunch

Corky & Lenny’s

I had lunch with my friend Janet on Friday, who I have been good friends with since high school.   We went to Corky and Lenny’s, which is an amazing deli that has been in business as long as I can remember.

Here are some of our family’s favorite dishes to order.  Would you believe that they actually have mail order info on their website?

  • MISH MASH - Motzoh Ball, Kreplach, Noodles and Rice - LG. BOWL $5.95
  • Chocolate Phosphate 16oz. Our Homemade Recipe 1.75
  • LOX PLATTER 12.00 Sliced Belly or Nova Lox, Cream Cheese, Onion, Tomato and Black Olives. Served with Bagel or Rolls & Butter.
  • #4 HOT CORNED BEEF, SWISS CHEESE 9.50

  1. I am sooo jealous! I still have one of their T-shirts somewhere. Do they still give you the bowl of pickles before ordering? (I think I might have asked you that already, but my memory is 50 years old)
