Weird cat water bowl friday
This is an art project that Megan did her freshman year of college. It is a stone sculpture of orange alabaster.
Not only does it look nice on my hearth but, as you can see, it is quite functional.
It doesn’t hold much water but this sculpture has turned into a favorite drinking bowl.
That looks almost too classy to be cat drinking bowl…it looks like a conch shell made of pearl or something…have a great Memorial Day…

That’s pretty cool. What is used when carving stone like that? I looks so polished.

I’ll have to ask here when she gets back home. She is in North Carolina right now taking classes at The Penland School of Crafts.
