Weird object friday

Brass lady Bell

When I was growing up, this little brass lady bell lived in my bedroom.   When I was sick with the flu, or some other childhood malady, my mother would have me stay in bed and ring this bell if I needed her.   This little bell now resides in my daughter’s room.   It served the same purpose for my children as it did for me.   I did look her up on the internet and found this page.

  1. What a cute tradition. And the bell is cute, too.

Elise- If I had more time in Ohio, I would be driving up to see you!
    Sorry I missed you!

  2. Maybe your grandchildren and great grandchildren will use the bell in the same way someday. That’s special!
