Walking the log
Rikki wants to go outside. Everytime we have tried to let him out he starts munching on poisenous plants. So, Ben and I googled cat leash and found the “Come with me kitty harness and bungee leash” I kid you not, it is really named this.
We have visions of a happy kitty that we take for long walks. So, off we go. NOT. All he wants to do is stay in one spot and mindlessly graze on the grass.

It’s not very often that I see a cat on a leash. Maybe he’ll get used to it and start walking around with it on. He does look cute though.

I hope you’re right about him getting used to it. He could really use the exercise!

My parents used to have a cat that they tied out on a long lead. She just sat under a bush and watched the birds. I think she would have done the same as Rikki on a leash.

Chris’ sister Becky used to have a cat named Spot who had his own dog type run. I might try that. I’m also thinking of taking him with me when I do some gardening next time. I could fasten the leash to a near by tree.
