Wild woodland strawberries

I didn’t plant these.   They have always been in my yard.

But this year, they have really taken off like an out of control weed!

They are everywhere!   They are growing in my grass and in several flower patches.

The taste is unbelievably sweet and tart at the same time.

I’m thinking it’s time to buy some vanilla ice cream…
