Nasturtiums
Nasturtiums
I planted this edible annual in my garden last year. I did not expect to see it back, but it is! Would you believe that it’s common name is nose tweaker? Plant these in your vegetable garden, as they repel pests, like squash bugs, cucumber beetles, and several caterpillars.
Last year, this plant had bright, vibrant colors. This year the hues are more pastel and subdued.
Here is a picture of the same plant, taken last year. Look at the difference in color.

Beautiful flowers. Thanks for the tip on the natural insect repellent. I am always looking for garden help.

My Mother made me up two pots of Nasturtiums this spring. I am really enjoying them. I love the shape of the leaves. I’m noticing that the blooms are different even on the same plant at the same time.
