OH DEER!

Two days ago, I had six beautiful broccoli plants.   As of yesterday, I only have one left.   I have noticed a deer or two in my yard lately.   I’m thinking there is a connection here.   My mother-in law advises me to put hot sauce on cotten balls, put the cotton balls on sticks and place them around my remaining plant.   Apparently, deer do not like their broccoli hot and spicey.
