Lupine in Bloom

Lupine in bloom

My neighbor Jean gave me a package of lupine seeds that I planted over a year ago.   By the end of last summer I had a green leafy plant but no flowers.

Below is the first flower I have seen. I know the picture is a little confusing because this garden is getting pretty wild, but it is the stalk in the middle with the two tone little pink flowers

Earlier this summer I posted an entry about my mother-in law’s garden. She had many Lupines in bloom. Look here if you want to revisit it!

  1. So this is a perennial?
It’s pretty and looks like it comes in a variety of colors.

  3. For some reason, I really like two-tone flowers. Lantana is one of my favorites. I have one now that is pinkish orange and yellow.

  4. I really like the addition of music to your blog! Your flowers look great. Maybe we’ll be able to go flower shopping soon.

  5. Margaret, I looked up Lantana on the web and it is relly pretty.
It is a perrenial, but not for zone four. I live too far north.
I’ll have it enjoy yours via the web!

Rosemary, I’m glad you like the music :)
