Astilbe is one of my favorites but I can’t grow it. I’ve tried several times. I don’t think I have the right conditions for it. My Mom has some that I admire.

Preen is some stuff you sprinkel in the garden to
keep the weeds down. I’d hate to see it if I didn’t use it. ha.

This is one of the first years I have used mulch and it’s working for me. A lot of my perennials are large enough to block out the weeds on their own. What is preen?

You have inspired me to get my flower bed cleaned up.
It’s a mess this year and time for some new perennials next year.
Now how do I keep the weeds down. I’ve tried preen and mulch
but I have weeds
