This last weekend, Chris and I decided it was time to use up all the extra mulch and surround a few more trees. We did this tree group last year and now we want to extend the mulched area to another tree.
The first step was to place the weed guard material down and pin it into place.
All done, On to the next tree!
Wow, that looks great. I would add a hammock between those 2 trees. Does weed guard really work? I’ve never tried it before.

We do still get a few weeds, but far less than before, and they pull out easily because the roots can’t penetrate through the weed guard. We also used it under the new section of driveway, and one year later there are no weeds popping out of the driveway stones. I like that hammock idea.

I love the woodsy look in your yard. It’s so inviting and peaceful. I can picture myself with a good book in my favorite lawn chair sitting there listening to the birds. Beautiful!

The mulch really makes it look cleaned up!
