Use your Imagination

Here is your chance to be creative and tell a story! This is a picture that I took from the safety of my greatroom. So, who is that man in my front yard in the strange white outfit? What is he doing? I will post the true story next time.

One day Elise happened to look out the window. She couldn’t believe her eyes. She wasn’t quite sure but she thought she had spotted the elusive “Bigfoot”. She quick grabbed her camera and got this photo. The authoritives have confirmed the sighting. It is the “Bigfoot” but he has aged quite a bit and is now all white. It seems that “Bigfoot” has decided to take up residence in Elise’s yard because it is so beautiful, like the garden of Eden. There he will live out the rest of his days happily…..

Elise confronted the stranger, who whirled toward her and, while producing a laminated ID badge, quickly snapped “From district ODOT office, ma’am. It seems your property is smack dab in the middle of the proposed right of way for a new Interstate connector. We are prepared to make you a generous offer for….”
Woozy, and thinking of how the fate of her countless plants was hanging in the balance, Elise could only gasp, “…how much?”
“Six-Thirty”, a new voice boomed out.
“Excuse me?”
“Yessir, it’s six-thirty, and right now it’s 56 at the airport, 62 downtown, going up to…”
As it did every weekday morning, the clock radio had awakened her from a fitful sleep and that same dream of the odd man in the driveway.

That’s it. I give. I think we know who the true writer in the family is.
You need to quit your day job, brother, and become a writer.
