Should I blame the weather or my gargening skills?
This year’s vegetable garden included several pepper plants. This is my BEST performing pepper plant. See the one scrawny little pepper and the chewed up leaves?
I did far better with the corn I planted
The bean poles did climb up the corns stalks, but so far bean production has been limited.
I’m glad that I am not complaining about tomatoes!
You must not have many deer. If I grew a garden like that, I’d have them lined up like a buffet!

They did come earlier this summer and eat my broccoli, but lately, (knock on wood) they haven’t been around.

I wouldn’t blame your skills at all. At least you have a veggie garden. I just resort to raiding my parents veggie garden. That corn looks wonderful!

Looks good to me! I suspect you got more rain than we did. We have some really sad looking cornfields around here.
