The Nest
Scary
We are getting ready to have our house sided and have discovered that the kitchen and laundry room had absolutely NO insulation. No wonder that part of the house was always so cold in winter! So Chris has been cutting holes into the existing siding to feed in strips of insulation. This wasp’s nest was quite a surprise. Just look at the size of it. Thank goodness it was not active!

ARE YOU KIDDING?
You would have needed more than my Dauber Clobber if was still buzzing! WOW!!

Yuck, I dislike anything that stings. Glad it was abandoned. Good luck with the insulation and siding.

Reminds me of some years we had yellow jackets in the wall. We’d hear the buzzing and I’d empty a can of some deadly spray in the hole after dark. I can only imagine what their living quarters looked like.

Wow, that nest is impressive. It seems like bees are so abundant this time of year, or at least I am noticing them more.

I’d say that would be a good indication of why the room was cold……..Glad you can get it fixed before winter sets in…
