The walk
The walk
On election day, I went with my good friend and neighbor Jean to vote. When we had finished casting our ballots, we went for a walk. I will refer you HERE for a picture of Jean and more information on the location of our walk.
Orchard Hills used to be a pampered golf course. It’s in the process of going back to nature. These tall grasses were not here back in the day.
This apple orchard is still part of Patterson’s fruit farm.
You can actually see a speck of the white building in the middle of the picture, (behind the bright orange tree) which is the fruit farm.
The trees were close to peaking that day, It was a beautiful day for a long walk.

A golf course returned to nature? I call that one a good walk UNSPOILED.

Because I am not a golfer, I had never had access to this pretty place before. For years I went to the fruit farm but no further.

Very nice place to walk! And how lucky you are to be so close
to that orchard! Love apples!

Those pictures are beautiful. I so miss living up north where the trees turn.
We only have two seasons here — sweat your face off and not so bad.
