My favorite ornaments
Now that I finally have my tree up I can share a few ornaments with you.
This bird was the first ornament I ever bought. It was the start of my bird ornament collection.
Chris’ mom gave me this ornament many years ago. It used to be displayed on his family’s tree when he was a child, so I guess this one would be the oldest.
Ben made this star in nursery school.
Now you knew I had to have at least one cat ornament. Mostly, I have a lot of bird ornaments, but I think I will save them for a later post.
And you have a real tree!
I like all your ornaments, but thought you’s have more cat ones.
Ben’s star is precious-sticks, glue, glitter an love what else is really needed.

My favorite trees are the ones that are not all “themed” and color coordinated, but ones like yours that are full of nostalgia and memories. (Who’s singing the Joni Mitchell song? It ain’t Joni!)

I have those same popsicle ornaments that Katie and I made when I taught her Sunday School class way back when she was 4! It looks identical. I really like the stained glass bird one.
