Footprints in the snow

Looking out my picture window
Down at the wrought iron glider on my front Porch
I see footprints in the snow.

Those are perfect. Look’s like the bird landed, sat awhile, then flew off.

Very neat picture!!
And it leaves me wondering; they could be really large
or small prints.

Always good to see something to break up Mother Nature’s blanket. I also want to thank you for all your kind comments this week. You and others gave me something I didn’t realize I needed.

I love the magic of the footprints and wondering what birdy made its tracks! Nice photo!
(P.S. You had asked about the difference between the hairy & downy woodpecker. The hairy is larger and has a longer beak.)

Jen - The prints were pretty small. I’ve been getting mostly Chickadees at the near by feeder,
Margaret, Wixy & Shelly - Thank-you!

I love the black and white contrast of this photo… not to mention that a bird created it!
