Peace

This is one of my favorite necklaces. It was made in the 1960’s, as a symbol of protest to the Vietnam war.
I have had this necklace for almost 40 years. It originally belonged to my sister Rosemary. It’s one of my favorite pieces of Jewelry, and I believe whole heartedly in it’s message.

That was a popular image back in the day - I remember posters that looked just like that. I guess it dates us a bit!

The necklace may be old, but the message is timeless.
Thanks for the note on the gimp. I’ll have to check it out.

I guess we ALL believe in peace, Pigeon. As I’ve heard many people say, “Why can’t we all just get along?”
Hugs,
Betsy

That’s definitely a blast from the past! I remember my friend Marianne’s sister had this one as a poster on her bedroom wall back in the day.. She also had the drawing of a hand passing a bunch of flowers to another hand. Remember that one?
