The guilty party

Do you see the Downy Woodpecker that is sharing the ledge with Mr Squirrel? That surprised me.

I can’t swear that it was the squirrel that toppled the feeder but I’m pretty sure he’s guilty.

What do you think?

Yup. He’s got destruction written all over his face. My suet cage has “magically” left the tree, as well.

Hi E, Looks VERY guilty to me… Now he’s just waiting for you to fix it so that he can do it again…
Great picture of the Downy and Squirrel close together. Guess they don’t dislike each other!!!!

I’m gonna bet it was the squirrel. I like that first photo; quite a variety of birds and I’ve never seen a Downy so close to a squirrel.

I think that squirrel knows he gets lots of ‘attention’ from you
whatever he does.
