Just hanging on

Yesterday, the outdoor temperature rose to a balmy 60 degrees. I turned off the heat, and opened the top half of my dutch door. Simone is not declawed, and had a fun time hanging on to the screen.

Oh that crazy kitty! LOL
Glad you liked the nutmeg coffee. I think it can make even plain old store-brand coffee taste a little more “gourmet”.
As for the sock pattern … it’s not necessarily “faulty”. It was written for a much heavier yarn and has a 9-stitch repeat. The repeat is what gave me problems. I guess I could go down 2 needle sizes and up one pattern size and it would work out, but then the pattern would be so tiny you wouldn’t really see it’s beauty.
I will definitely try this pattern again when I have some sport-weight sock yarn. It just doesn’t work (for me) with the real fine sock yarn.
So, I get the fun of digging through the stash today and finding something I like better.

Looks like one of those things you stick on the back window of your car.

Hi Pigeon, Aren’t you worried about your screen??? Maybe your screens are made out of something more substantial than ours—but ours would be destroyed if a cat climbed on them…
Cute picture though… Bet your kitty would have loved to have been outside chasing birds.
Hugs,
Betsy

Simone is my daughter Megan’s cat, and she is going home soon, to claw up my daughter’s screens. I am just the cat sitter!
