Weird jumper friday
Weird jumper friday
Simone managed to jump to the top of the tallest piece of furniture in the house, and then had trouble figuring out how to get down. I stood on a chair and tried to rescue her, but no, she didn’t like that idea at all and jumped down herself.

I’m glad she didn’t knock anything down. That pottery piece looks HEAVY!!!
She sure is a cute kitty.

Good thing you didn’t call the fire department;
that would have been embarrassing.

Simone is such a pretty cat. What happened to her tail? It looks like a shortie!

And the thing about cats is, she probably walked away from the whole episode acting all cool about it, like “that wasn’t awkward at all!”

Simone was rescued from an abusive situation, when she was a little kitten. My daughter’s roomate Lexie discovered children picking up a litter of kittens by their tails and throwing them against a wall. Lexie scooped up all the kittens and took them home. She found good homes for all of them. Megan kept Simone and Lexie kept a male kittie that she named Einstein. Einstine’s tale was in such bad shape, that it had to be amputated. Simone has been staying with us because Megan’s landlord felt that there were too many kitties in their aparment. Lexie already had one cat before Simone and Einstein arrived.

What a sad story. So glad that the kitties were rescued. I think Simone may be part monkey, though!

Poor Simeon… Even for a cat, she’s WAY up there. I can just see you standing on a chair trying to get her down.. That’s what we really needed a picture of!!! Ha Ha….
Great ‘weird’ post… Glad Simeon got down!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
