The first dafodil of spring

A couple days ago I saw this blooming dafodil.

And this pretty robin.

I took this picture yesterday. Not surprisingly, the robin could not be found.

Would anyone like an icy Bud?

Love the pictures Elise. I don’t think you are the only one seeing icy buds right now. Here’s hoping for a quick thaw.

Our daffodil greens are starting to come up but no blooms yet. We got a dusting of snow the last few days but it looks like you got a lot more than we did. Hopefully spring will be here to stay soon.

Woooo—early spring is so unpredictable isn’t it??? One day it’s warm and the next day is snowy… What’s up with that??? I’m sure the Robins are asking the same questions. Looks like in that first picture that your iris are growing nicely.
Just wait, Pidg, Spring will get here sooner or later!!!! ha
Hugs,
Betsy

Ah yes, spring up north. You never know what you’ll wake up to. Beautiful pictures. Love the icy buds.

I hope the buds come through alright! I was worried about our light frost this weekend and hope that was it for winter!

Man, when will it end for you? Isn’t this late to have ice/snow, even in Ohio? Good luck- I bet that dafodil will bounce back.

This is the time of year we learn patience, huh?
I saw some dafodils while on a walk Saturday. Yes, it’s coming.
