Weird Angle Friday

I was taking pictures of my buckeye tree, happened to look straight up and there he was. I don’t think he even knew I was there. Zoom lenses are a wonderful thing.

Almost looks like he can hold on with his tail, like a lemur! That’s a funny picture.

You did good work, usually they are pretty observant!
Yep–I couldn’t live without the Zoom.

Yes, I love the zoom lens. When I use G’s camera, I can really zoom far away. With my little point and shoot camera, I can’t zoom THAT far.
Great picture, Elise
Have a wonderful week. I’ll post one more time in the morning–but then I’ll be gone for about 9 days.
Hugs,
Betsy

That is a really neat picture. That must be a fox squirrel with all that red.

He’s hoping you make him one of those squirrel feeders!

Hi Elise… I’m surprised you haven’t heard of Morel Mushrooms before. They are considered a real delicacy. Somehow they have never been able to be grown commercially and are only found in the wild for a few short weeks each spring. You have to be careful that you know for sure what you are picking is a morel because many wild mushrooms are poisonous. In Michigan up north there are even towns that have Morel Mushroom festivals. We like to saute ours with egg flour and butter….yummy! I wish you were closer to us, I’d let you try some.

At least he didn’t drop an acorn on your head like they always do in the cartoons and comics…
