Pigeon and the great outdoors

My cat Pigeon spends a lot of time outside when the weather is good.

We have an acre and a half of land here, and she has explored it all quite thoroughly.

When I am outside too, she joins me. Sometimes I think she worries that I’ll get into trouble if she doesn’t look after me because she is always near by.

When Pigeon is ready to come inside, she stares me down from the porch through picture window. She goes in and out so many times during the course of a day, that I sometimes loose track of just exactly where she is. Sometimes I’ll call her, to get her back inside, and she’ll walk into the greatroom with an expression on her face that says “What’s the matter with you ?- I WAS inside already!”
Happy April 1st!

My original thought was to do something more plausible for an April fools post, but as you can see it didn’t quite turn out that way because I over did it. I probably should have stuck with just one squirrel. Oh well!
Walking with Pigeon

The the weather was nice, and my cat Pigeon and I went for a walk.

Pigeon is an indoor/outdoor cat. When I go outside she likes to keep me company and we walk together.

I sometimes call her my Camouflage kitty because she blends into the scenery.
Weird Sun bathing Friday and a cat nap

Rikki found a swathe of warm sunlight on the carpeting.

Oops, I think I woke him up.

Yawn stretch.
Just a few things
I can’t Believe how close this pileated woodpecker gets to my front picture window. I see him every day now.

Simone has gone back home with my daughter Megan, and Rikki has lost his bird watching buddy.

This dried astilbe is still standing in my front garden. to view what it looked like last summer, look HERE.
Is Rikki unusally large or is Simone unusally small?
Just watching

I think Simone is enjoying her visit with us.

She’s turned into quite the birdwatcher. It keeps her entertained.
