Good Help Is Hard To Find

What can I do to be of assistance?

Just a minute, I’ve got my own stuff to do too!

I‘m sorry but answering phones is not in my job description.

       I quit!

∗ Thank-you Cliff for my award!

Weird plant stand friday

Many years ago, Chris made me a plant stand, and I happily filled it with plants, until my children were old enough to crawl.

So, off came the plants and on went the cats and the children!

Wrapping presents

Rikki helped me wrap presents this year.   He helped by restraining himself and not eating the wrapping paper or the curling ribbon.

Catknit?

Well, I’m knitting again.   I’m not exactly sure what it is that I’m knitting.   It was going to be a scarf, but I cast on way too many stitches. 130 to be exact.   The end result will also depend on when I run out of this yarn too!

Getting stuff done (in the wrong order)

Today I roasted pumpkin seeds using this method.   Then I placed them in a funky ceramic bowl that was made by my daughter.

Too bad I didn’t pay the bills first because when I got ready to deal with them, this is what I found.   Thanks Rikki, hope you enjoyed your snack!

New curtains for new windows

In an attempt to be more energy efficient, we insulated our kitchen and replaced the old drafty windows.   In past years, our kitchen was always the coldest room of the house .

So, I decided that new windows deserved new curtains.   I found these on the internet, and they were not very expensive. The long panels were $12 a piece and the two valances over the sink were $6 a piece.   By the way, Rikki approves!

Basket Case

I was in my kitchen, doing the dishes, when I heard an odd noise.   It was sort of a clunk or a thud.   Lucky that waste paper basket wasn’t full.

Rikki seems to have a thing for baskets.   My cat is strange.
