Many years ago, Chris made me a plant stand, and I happily filled it with plants, until my children were old enough to crawl.
So, off came the plants and on went the cats and the children!

This photo was taken around Christmas time 1986. Note what Chris is wearing on his feet. Those furntzers have been around for quite some time.

OK, I admit it; this is not very weird but Rikki does have a lot of toys and it seems to be pet toy day here at the Weird Object Friday kaltch!
This one is my favorite cat toy, but for Rikki, it’s got to be the milk jug rings in the top picture.

Have you ever heard that old joke “The cat’s on the roof?” If not, you can find it HERE. Anyway, This is a very old picture of Bree and Fiver, who crawled out a bedroom window and on to the roof. This picture has been on our kitchen bulletin board for many years. When someone in our family has a rather large problem, we often say “ut oh, the cat’s on the roof!”

This is a piece that my daughter made. It is a broken plate, with a picture of a mermaid, and an inscription that reads “Things will only get worse”. I think the weirdest thing about this piece is the fact that my daughter made it. Her disposition is usually quite sunny. Anyway, I hope the inscription is not true, because lately, we have had a lot of unusual things go awry.

These pieces belonged to my mother and grandmother. They are actually silver not gold, but I liked the way this picture came out so I used it. I have no idea what their special uses might be. Let me know if you do.

I was going through all my pictures that I have stored on the computer to try to organize them somehow. What a nightmare that is. Anyhow, I came across this old picture of Rikki that Megan took. Basically, Rikki was passed out on Megan’s bed and my art school daughter had a bit of fun with the camera.

For a few years now, Chris and I have been addicted to a game we down loaded from the internet called Snood. We actually have Snood wars, where we try to out do each other on the high score board. The weird part is that every time Chris wins he puts the name of a furntzer on the board. For those of you that do not know what a furntzer is I refer you Here. I, on the other hand have my own weird score board isms. Kittiesrule, Rikkirocks and Queen Elizabeth are all mine. (Elise is French for Elizabeth) The rest are all the names of Chris’s Furntzers.

Yes, that furntzer “Skwiggul” does have first place on the Snood score board, but that is only because lately, I have moved on to DGEN, which is a game that Ben put on my computer, so he could play it when he comes home to visit.

This jade ring belonged to my mom. I have never worn it. Maybe some Halloween, when I am dressed up like Cleopatra I’ll wear it. Probably not!

When Ben & Megan were young Chris made them these feet. I think it was a Christmas present. I convinced Chris to model them for me, as no children came home today.
